Hey mate, how easy is it to relocate tail light and number plate? also is it easy to change seat to bobber seat? and where did you get harley hard tail shocks from ? cheers bro.
Relocate - I fabricated a bracket out of stainless sheet. Made up a template from card, and did it all at work.. So basically it's easy if you've got the tools and materials. LED lights all from www.dx.com free shipping to nz. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/motorbikes/parts-for-sale/suspension/auction-817753035.htm
Struts yup all you need is a 17mm socket... however you need to cut the kick stand down as the bike will fall over with it normal length. Guard just got some galv flat brackets from bunnings. They go from lower strut stud to the guard mounting holes
Was it alright using the harley shocks without any shim of some sort to make the harley stut holes smaller due to the gn250 shocks bolt holes are smaller in diameter ? so the sit snug on the fram bolts ? or did you use shim where did you get them made or bought from ?

ReplyDeleteNo metal sleeve used for Harley hard tail.. just used a few washers and had no problems. Didn't move around at all.
